About SunExpress
SunExpress is a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, operating scheduled and leisure flights between Türkiye and Europe. With major bases in Antalya and Izmir, the airline serves millions of passengers each year. Flights departing from EU or EEA airports may be covered by EU261, allowing eligible passengers to claim compensation for qualifying delays and cancellations.

Passengers departing from EU or EEA airports may have rights under EU261 when their SunExpress flight arrives at least three hours late, is cancelled at short notice or results in a missed connection, provided the disruption was within the airline's control.
