EU Regulation 261/2004 (“EU261”) provides fixed compensation levels when your flight is heavily delayed, cancelled or you are denied boarding.

Ticket price doesn’t matter — two passengers on the same flight usually receive the same compensation amount.

When can compensation be reduced?
If you are rebooked and arrive close to the original arrival time, the compensation may in some cases be reduced by 50%.
